Please join us and help plan the 2019 riding season. It will be here before you know it.
We’ll be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lebanon at 7 pm on February 6, 2019. Join us for a snack or dinner and discussion on the 2019 season. If you aren’t already a member of the Cruisers, come anyway. We always welcome new faces and the club is open to all bikes, bike types and riders. Cruisers, with zero RSVPs for the pre-ride and forecast temperatures in 30s in the morning, I’m cancelling the pre-ride. At the moment, the event is still on. Gates open at 10am. Actual blessing is at 1pm. Dee and I will probably still go, but just wait to get a later and hopefully warmer start.
Check out the event website, or perhaps our pictures from last year!
Well, we’re a little late posting the images we captured for the first annual Ohio SCRC Picnic at Buck Creek State Park – August 31, 2013… but here they are:

Cruisers, we haven’t gotten much response on the meeting plan, but we’re going to try it again. Join us Saturday March 2, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Frisch’s. State Route 73, just west of I-75. Meet your fellow members and more importantly, help plan the rides for this season! Breakfast bar will be available too if you’re hungry!
The weather was a mix of pretty much everything over the course of this event. On April 9, 2011, members from Chapter 044 had the honor of joining many other chapters and tens of thousands of other riders in the honor guard escort of two steel beams from the World Trade Center Twin Towers as they traveled to Indianapolis, IN to become part of the 9-11 memorial being constructed there. Members met up with a number of Ohio and Indiana Chapters in Liberty, IN to travel as a group to the staging location in Richmond. While in Richmond, the rain began, but it didn’t seem to dampen spirits any. In Richmond, we welcomed the arrival of the beams and attended a ceremony there. After that, it was kickstands up as the massive group of bikes escorted the beams to Indy. Bikes stretched for miles down the expressway. Some reports have tallied the count at 16,000. Others have reported that bikes passed by for an hour and a half. It was awe inspiring. Once in Indy, we participated in another ceremony before heading back. Check out our pictures below, and be sure to visit the chapter’s facebook page as well. There we’ve linked videos and other images from the event.
